Everything on VoteBrief is open data. No account, no key, no permission needed — read it in your browser, or pull it into your own project.

API endpoints

  • /api/v1/meetings — every transcribed meeting, newest first
  • /api/v1/meetings/{date}/transcript — full transcript, paged
  • /api/v1/meetings/{date}/votes — vote records, each with a verified flag
  • /api/v1/search?q=… — full-text search across all transcripts

What the data means

Transcripts are produced by computer from the city's public recordings and published word-for-word. Vote records carry a verified flag: true means checked against the official minutes, false means not yet checked — treat those as provisional.

Reuse

Use the data for journalism, research, neighborhood organizing, or your own civic project. A link back is appreciated but not required.
